We got a call from Daniel's school yesterday saying that he would be receiving an award at their assembly today. We went to see he received it for Respect. Last May he received it for Caring. These are very good qualities for a young guy to have. Now just to get him to demonstrate these attributes a little more at home.
And Simon, he's decided that books make a great toy. He loves to pull them off the shelves and grab them from his brother - so hopefully this means he'll be an avid reader as he gets older. He's also figured out how to use his walking toy and is in heaven.
Tipper found a rotting mouse in the toy room last night. We thought we had finished with finding mice, but I guess not. She started rolling around on it and stank up the entire house. We were able to get the mouse away, and sprayed down the hall with Lysol and Fabreeze, but the dog would not let us get near her. And to think we just had her bathed and groomed on Monday.
