I wish we had more time when we take our little trip up to Bear Lake, but Vince's and my vacation schedules don't seem to jive at all. I took my vacation for Spring Break in April and Vince got his this coming week.
We left Friday just after Daniel got home from school and took a break at grandpa's on the way up. We got there just before 6:30 and Daniel had to make sure he got a fire started first thing. We then drove to North Shore and the boys and Tipper had a ball! Simon screamed for 20 minutes when we buckled him in his seat to go back to camp.
Saturday, we rented a 2 man bike built in Italy. I was worn out after just a few minutes, but Daniel had the leg power and stamina to go almost the whole hour! Then we did a round of mini golf and had lunch and then the boys went back to playing on the playground. They have this bounce pillow the boys just loved as well as the other staples of the playground. The last thing of the day was hayride around the park and a trip to town for the famous rasberry icecream.
Sunday was pack up day and we stopped by my sister's for the rest of the day for dinner and more playing for the kids. We're still not unpacked, but we thought we could do that tomorrow when the sun is shining and the boys are in school.
