Daniel at the wedding. It was nice there were things to keep kids busy while the adults visited and congratulated the new couple
I bought this last year to put on the back of my bike (which never got out of the shed). Daniel thinks it's great to be able to give Simon a ride around the block.
And it was fun!I have had every intention to blog these past couple of weeks, but too much has been going on. Vince's mom was supposed to have her second hip replacement on the 3rd, but when they took her into surgery, they found a huge bedsore and so had to scrub the surgery until they could fix the bedsore (which they did on the 4th via surgery) and then did the hip on the 5th. She went back to the care center and was told it was going to be a long time before she could even stand, which I think depressed her, so in her sleep, she walked to her chair and that's where the nurses found her the next morning. A couple of days later, they were bathing her and heard a grinding sound and back to the hospital she went with a broken femur. They were going to do surgery on Father's Day, but her blood work didn't allow it, so they did it on Monday. That means she had 3 surgeries in a week. They are helping her stand before they get her back to therapy.
We spent Father's day at my sisters where we dropped off my brother for a week. He had a hearing test which showed he has lost 80% of his hearing! We picked him up on Friday, at Greg and Amy's wedding reception.
