Fall Break and Cornbelly's

The boys having fun

I remember doing this when I was their age - The joys of being on a farm

A way to make you feel real small is to find a BIG chair

Simon's 1st Pony Ride

This week was fall break for our school district. We took one of the days off to spend with the boys which they totally loved. First we went to a new pizza place - Pizza Pie Cafe - it's in the old Tony Roma's building. My office got an invite to try out the place to help the new employees serve, wait, etc. And since the boys love pizza we thought we'd take them up on the free lunch. It is buffet style pizza and pasta with a small salad bar too - so we left very full.
Then off to Thanksgiving Point to Cornbelly's - which is a corn maze, and fun things for kids to do like bounce pillows, rides around the farm, water games, pumpkin tossing, haunted houses and the like. The latter were too scary for Simon - they were 3D but Daniel loved them. We finished by going to the farm and Simon loved all the animals! He especially loved the pony ride. Daniel opted for the hay ride instead. Simon fell asleep on the way home and Vince crashed the minute he walked in the door. He's been fighting a cold the past few days and this little family trip wore him out!
